​Health care design is continuously evolving to better meet the needs of special or high-risk populations. In my work on memory care, my focus is on creating spaces that replicate the comfort and familiarity of home by incorporating more traditional design elements rather than modern ones. By implementing thoughtful design strategies that evoke a "home away from home" atmosphere, I aim to create an environment that not only feels welcoming but also supports memory function and emotional well-being.

 

I recognize that designing for these unique populations requires attention to their specific needs, allowing for customized solutions that address both immediate and long-term personal accommodations.
